Alphabet Caterpillar Printables for Preschool

These free alphabet caterpillar printables create two different activities for your child:

1. ) Matching lowercase letters to uppercase letters

2.) Placing the letters in alphabetical order (comes with both uppercase and lowercase letters)

How to Prepare and Use Your Printables

You can download and print these activities off for free over at our resource library.

For durability and longevity, we highly recommend laminating your printables before use.

Cut out the spare uppercase and lowercase letters.

From here, you can go a few different routes. You can call it good and allow your child to complete the activities.

Or, you could also make a file folder game or two. Grab a file folder, and adhere your alphabet caterpillar to one side using double sided tape. Use clear velcro dots to fasten (and easily take off) the spare letters to the caterpillar. I also attach an envelope with double sided tape to the other side of the folder for storing the spare letters.

Another excellent option is to add these printables to your preschool learning binder

For my child’s binder, I place the main sheet into a protective sleeve (omit laminating), and then I laminate and cut out the letters that will go on top.

Much like with the file folder game, I use velcro dots to help the letters stay in place and store the cut out letters in an envelope when not in use.
